As a Freelancer I have done extensive research about the basic skills any person needs to become a successful Freelancer.
I have searched which skills are the most wanted and this is the list:
- Data Entry – lowest paying but mostly wanted
- Article Writing – better fees but you need to be very good at English
- WordPress blog submissions
- Joomla website content management
Off course there are other needs, but for these you need certain certifications which this site is not aiming to do.
What I am aiming to do with this site is to teach you the basic skills you will need to become a successful Freelancer and earn a comfortable income for yourself.
Data entry:
A basic data entry course will consist of teaching you the basics of entering data into a Zencart and Joomla Virtuemart site.
When completing this course you will be totally comfortable with Zencart or Virtuemart.
Article writing:
With this course you will learn how to write an article using correct spelling and grammar. You will be taught how to use a plagiarism check as well as doing research on different subjects. We will also concentrate on Keyword placing and density, which is the most important part of writing articles for the internet.
Basic Website Development
In this course you will be taught how to:
- use cPanel
- setup email accounts
- install Joomla and modules
- install WordPress and plugins
- do basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization) tasks
When you have finished your course you will have your own fully functional Joomla website and WordPress blog set up to market your own Freelancing Service or any other kind of service you wish.
This website can be used for any online business. Just make sure that you choose the right domain name.
There is a myriad of opportunities on the internet to make money. You just need some training, a mentor and a helping hand in the right direction.
